TMR modules represent a significant advancement in gaming input technology, effectively addressing the long-standing issue of analog stick drift. Unlike traditional analog sticks that rely on metal contacts and carbon tracks, TMR modules employ a sensor-magnet mechanism to precisely track stick position, eliminating the friction-based wear that causes drift over time.

Performance Specifications

TMR modules maintain the same tension profile as OEM stick modules, delivering approximately 70 grams-force (g/f) actuation. This consistent feel ensures a seamless transition from standard controllers without requiring adjustment to your gameplay.

How Stick Drift Occurs

Traditional analog sticks experience drift when the metal contact point gradually wears away the carbon track through repeated friction. This material degradation creates dead zones and inconsistent stick behavior, resulting in involuntary input drift or erratic control.

Centering Tolerance & Expectations

TMR modules provide raw sensor readings and maintain a centering tolerance of approximately ±3% due to mechanical recenter mechanisms. At the zero deadzone setting, you may notice minimal drift (approximately 3 in-game deadzone units). This tolerance is inherent to spring and plastic-based recenter systems and reflects industry-standard performance for high-precision analog input devices.
