TMR (No Drift) Sticks

TMR Modules replace stock thumbstick modules. They're best known for being resistant to stick drift. This is due to them using a magnet and sensor which never make contact causing them not to wear out like stock modules. This will allow them to be much more consistent over a long period of time.

Available for PS4, PS5, and Xbox controllers.

*You still may experience centering differences up to 0.3 (3%) on the high end. Thumbsticks use an internal spring to recenter and aren't always 100% perfect when returning to center. The same applies to brand new controllers with stock modules. The higher the stick tension, the more this is amplified.

Stock Sticks

Stock stick modules are the thumbsticks that come in the controller from the factory. They are the same potentiometer style modules that have come in controllers for over a decade. They use a wiper that runs along a carbon track (think of a windshield wiper on a car). Once the carbon track begins to wear out, it will cause the signals to become jittery, inconsistent, and in extreme cases can cause the stick to move uncontrollably.

*You still may experience centering differences up to 0.3 (3%) on the high end. Thumbsticks use an internal spring to recenter and aren't always 100% perfect when returning to center. The same applies to brand new controllers with stock modules. The higher the stick tension, the more this is amplified.

Don't get me wrong, these modules are still a great option and can last over a year of daily play without issues. The lifespan depends on a lot of factors. Luckily, these are replaceable if needed.

Demon Sticks

Demon sticks convert the L3 and R3 to a mouse click button. Standard pressure will be very similar to the stock force to press where as the light is half the force. Converting to mouse click also shortens the pressing distance slightly.

Available in 2 options:

  • Light - 60 grams press force
  • Standard - 120 grams press force

Thumbstick Tensioning

You can customize your thumbstick tensioning to meet your playing needs. Increasing your thumbstick tension allows you to be more precise with your aiming, while lowering your tension makes the stick easier to move. Increasing tension will make L3/R3 harder to press since you are increasing the spring tension, lessening will make it easier. Increasing tension also shortens the lifespan of the stick as well as decreases the accuracy of the stick snapping back to center. You may need to increase deadzone to avoid experiencing "drift" while gaming.

Available for stock and hall effect (TMR) modules.

Options:

  • Light - 50 grams
  • Increased - 100 grams
  • Heavy - 150 grams
  • Extreme - 200 grams

*Note: 75 grams is stock

Demon Bumpers/Triggers

Demon bumpers and triggers change the press of a stock bumper or trigger into a shorter, mouse click press. This is a big benefit in FPS games as well as others. The response time is faster and allows you to fire more shots in less time. These modules are not recommended for racing games, as it will convert the bumper or trigger into an on/off switch.

Available for PS4 and PS5 controllers. Triggers are available for Xbox Series X/S Controllers.

*If getting bumpers on a PS5 controller, you must get triggers as well

Demon Face Buttons (PS Only)

Demon face buttons, just like the Demon bumpers/triggers, turn stock face buttons and D-pad into a shorter, mouse click press. Very snappy and a claw player's favorite. These require a custom ribbon with Omron switches and custom buttons made in house. Demon Face buttons are available in white or black.

Available for PS4 and PS5 currently. An Xbox version may be released in the future.

This is not the stiff premade kit most other companies use.

Rear Buttons (Tactical)

Tactical rear buttons are the standard rear buttons many controller companies use, such as Scuf (buttons under paddles), BattleBeaver, Cinch, etc. These are tried and tested and are familiar. Lifespan is around 500,000 clicks before you can experience inconsistent inputs or they stop working altogether. Tactical rear buttons can be installed on a new controller, or you can send in an existing controller to have your back buttons replaced.

Available for PS4, PS5, and Xbox controllers.

Rear Buttons (Demon Switches)

Demon Workshop is the first to offer true mouse-click style rear buttons known as Demon Switches. Demon Switches were designed and made in house and perfected through a multi-month project of trial and error. Not only are these easier and more satisfying to press, they are more responsive and have a lifespan of ~10 million presses (which is 33x the lifespan of tactile rear buttons). I've had nothing but great reviews on these and have seen many PRs broken using Demon Switches.

These were designed by me and made in house. Only available at DemonWorkshop

Button Mapping

Button mapping refers to what the rear button will mimic.

Always think of it as if you're holding the controller. Left hand will press left buttons and right hand will press right buttons. (NOT as if you're looking at it from the back, you will make your mappings backwards)

Buttons available are

-X (A)

-O (B)

-Triangle (Y)

-Square (X)

-Dpad UP

-Dpad Down

-Dpad Left

-Dpad Right

-L1 (LB)

-R1 (RB)

-L2 (LT)

-R2 (RT)

-L3 (Stick Press Down)

-R3 (Stick Press Down)

Remap Chip

A remap chip allows the rear buttons to be remapped on the fly. One day you could run X | O and another you could run Square | R3 etc

Demon Pad (PS Only)

A Demon Pad replaces your stock touchpad with a nice, easy to press mouse click touchpad. Extends the lifespan of the switch and increases the speed it can be pressed.

USB-C Conversion (PS4)

You can opt to convert the micro USB port that comes standard on PS4 controllers to a USB-C port. There is no overclocking or performance advantage of USB-C, however the micro USB is a common weak point of PS4 controllers. The USB-C decreases the chance of having connection issues, as the port is much more secure. Overall, this is a great option for quality and longevity.

Rumbles

Rumbles are the motors in any controller that give off vibration during gameplay. These are commonly removed to lessen the weight of the controller since most players don't use them.

Rumbles will automatically be removed if rear buttons are being added to the controller.

Soft Touch shells refer to the clear coat being used. Soft touch leaves a soft, velvety feels to the controller (commonly used on phone cases).

Rear Grip is available in splatter form and a few knurled versions. Multiple colors available

Custom Team Controllers

I do offer full custom designs designed by you, a designer of your choice, or a designer through me. If you want to set your team apart, this is the best way. Must order a minimum of 20 shells.
