Marius Stick Module Info

Analog Stick Module Options

3-Pin TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) — Most Popular

Our default configuration, the 3-Pin TMR utilizes K-Silver JS13 TMR sensors with magnet-based tracking technology. Because the components operate without physical contact, they eliminate the friction-based wear that causes stick drift.

To dumb it down, stick last long time.

Performance Characteristics

  • Fast response time and superior consistency
  • Exceptional longevity with minimal maintenance
  • Maintains centering tolerance of approximately ±3% (inherent to spring-return mechanisms)
  • Eliminates source of unplayable stick drift

3-Pin ALPs (OEM Standard)

The 3-Pin ALP represents the original analog stick design used by Sony and Microsoft in standard controller configurations. This option provides the most familiar feel and analog experience for users accustomed to factory-standard controllers.

Performance Characteristics

  • Identical feel to original OEM stick modules
  • Subject to gradual degradation and eventual stick drift with extended use
  • Replacement recommended when drift becomes noticeable

5-Pin (ALPs)

5-Pin sensors feature Hall Effect-based technology with an 2 additional pins for reduced electrical noise and increased resolution. This results in higher data point density across movement curves, delivering smoother and more accurate tracking.

5-Pin ALPs — 5-Pin Sensor on OEM Base

  • Custom Marius Designed Hall Effect sensor resulting in fastest speed and highest resolution
  • Combines advanced tracking with familiar feel
  • Maintains centering tolerance of approximately ±3% (inherent to spring-return mechanisms)
