Stick Module Info

3 Pin ( TMR ) - This is the most popular option. We use K-Silver JS13 TMRs by default but can use other TMRs by request.

TMR = Tunnel Magnetoresistance

These use a magnet and sensor to track your movements. Since the components do not rub they will not develop the unplayable stick drift. It is still common to slight movement if you're on a 0 deadzone. This is due to all raw reading sticks having a small centering tolereance ~3%.

Preferred for their fast response, longevity, and consistency

3 Pin ( ALPs ) - ALPs are the original sticks used by Sony/Microsoft in the controllers. They will have the most familiar feel but will eventually develop stick drift and need replaced.

Preferred for their familiar feel

5 Pin ( MH Gin or MH ALPs ) - 5 pin sticks are custom stick sensors developed Marius. They are a Hall Effect based design and offer an additional 2 pins for less electrical noise and a higher resolution. This means there are more data points across a curve of data resulting in smoother tracking. The 5 pin sensors are available in 2 versions.

MH Gin - 5 Pin sensors on a Ginfull stick base how Marius originally designed them. These perform very well but have slightly less tension ( ~25% less tension ).

Preferred for their fast and accurate movements

MH ALPs - 5 Pin sensors on an ALPs stick base. This is the same stick base that originally comes in the controller from the factory so it will have the same tension.

Preferred for the OEM tension and benefits of the 5 pin sensor.

5 pin stick modules are currently only available for PS4 controllers and by request only. PS5 and Xbox versions will come out later.
